This Fall Hilltop will be providing Fall baseball for our 8 through 12-year-old age groups, based on the 2011 age cut off. This program is for current Hilltop in-house players and is not accepting outside all-star teams at this time. Rosters will be formed based on the number of players signed up by the resgistration deadline of August 25. Every child will receive a T-shirt and hat and games will be played on Saturdays and Sundays at Hilltop Field from September 11 through October 31. Congratulations to both our 12U and 10U Softball Travel teams who each won the DelVal Tournaments this weekend. The 12U team came through the losers bracket defeating Brookline twice. The 10U team also came through the losers bracket defeating Newtown twice. Both teams had to play four games on Saturday and two on Sunday, so great job by the players and coaches to bring home another Championship to Hilltop.

After losing their first game in a double elimination tournament, they came back to win 6 in a row to win the championship. The last 2 games were against the undefeated Marple team. Hilltop won the first game 7-6 and the second game 16-4. The team is now 10-1 in tournament play.

The 8 and Under tournament team was the runner-up in their District tournament.

Hilltop's 10 and Under tournament team went undefeated, beating Tinicum and Norwood to get to the championship game. The team then played Media to take the championship. Congratulations Steve, Pat, Gerry and players!

Hilltop's 7-and-Under and 9-and-Under tournament teams both made it to their respective championship rounds at the Chichester Tournament.

The 7-and-Under team went 3-0 over the weekend to get to the final round, and remained undefeated as they won the tournament in the championship game on Tuesday night. Congratulations to the coaches, Bud, Chris and Derek, and to the team for getting off to a great start. (Team photo)

The 9-and-Under team also went undefeated (2-0) over the weekend, and placed 2nd in the tournament after falling to BYC in the championship game. Congratulations to coaches Todd, Roy and Mark, and their team.

Beating Brookline, Ridley, and Springfield in the early rounds at the Chichester Tournament, Hilltop's 10 & Under team advanced to the final round where they met BYC. The boys played a great game to claim the Championship, beating their opponents 64-21 along the way. Congratulations!

Hilltop's May Board of Directors meeting and general League meeting will be held on Sunday, May 16, 2010 beginning at 7:30 P.M. in the Sacred Heart Church Falls Center located at Manoa Road and Wilson Avenue.

On Friday evening the Hilltop snack bar was broken into sometime between 8:30 P.M. and 7:00 A.M. The Hilltop Board of Directors is offering reward of up to $250 for information that leads to the arrest of the individual(s) that broke into the snack bar.
